It has been about a month since my last post on here, I have been patiently waiting for the flowers to bloom in the local greenhouse called Nettas. This past Tuesday I took a drive there and managed to capture a few interesting images of the freshly ‘hatched’ flowers. The image above is my favorite because of the texture and color contrast between the flower and backdrop that I was testing. In about a week all the flowers at the greenhouse will be blooming; I plan on spending an entire day there doing macro photography (with plenty more to post here!)

Hi there! Welcome to the all-new Peltz Photography blog. My name is Travis Peltz. I live in northeast Michigan near a small town called Rogers City. My interest in photography began when I was in the 2nd grade when I started to play around with my father’s old film camera. I was fascinated by everything. The sounds it made, the way it looked, and the way it felt right. I was hooked. From there on photography has firmly embedded itself into my life.
The reason I am starting this blog is to share my passion and experiences relating to outdoor photography with everyone. By viewing this blog, I hope I can inspire people to pursue their passions and dreams, whatever they happen to be.
I will share the good, the embarrassing, and things that I learn along my photographic journeys. There will be frequent blog posts detailing recent photography trips, along with video journals and images along the way. Feel free to speak your voice in the comments if you disagree or agree with what is said. Don’t be afraid to share the content on my blog via the social media buttons!
Thank you for visiting and check back soon!
